Shrimp Boil Foil Packets
Southern-style shrimp boil made for campfires and fun.
🛒 Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined, tails on)
- 2 ears corn, cut into 1.5-inch rounds
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved or quartered
- 1 smoked sausage, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning (or Cajun blend)
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Chopped parsley (optional)
🔥 Instructions
- Parboil the potatoes for 7–8 minutes until just tender. Drain.
- Tear 4 large sheets of heavy-duty foil (or double up regular foil).
- Divide potatoes, corn, sausage, and shrimp evenly onto each sheet.
- Drizzle with olive oil, add a pat of butter, and sprinkle seasoning.
- Top with a lemon slice and seal the foil packets tightly.
- Cook over hot coals or grill for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Open carefully and garnish with parsley. Enjoy straight from the foil!
🔥 Camp Tip
Build the foil packets at home in a cooler, then toss them on the fire when you're ready. Cleanup = zero.
