Shrimp Boil Foil Packets

Southern-style shrimp boil made for campfires and fun.

Cook Time: 20–25 minutes
Serves: 4

🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined, tails on)
  • 2 ears corn, cut into 1.5-inch rounds
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 1 smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning (or Cajun blend)
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Chopped parsley (optional)

🔥 Instructions

  1. Parboil the potatoes for 7–8 minutes until just tender. Drain.
  2. Tear 4 large sheets of heavy-duty foil (or double up regular foil).
  3. Divide potatoes, corn, sausage, and shrimp evenly onto each sheet.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil, add a pat of butter, and sprinkle seasoning.
  5. Top with a lemon slice and seal the foil packets tightly.
  6. Cook over hot coals or grill for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway.
  7. Open carefully and garnish with parsley. Enjoy straight from the foil!

🔥 Camp Tip

Build the foil packets at home in a cooler, then toss them on the fire when you're ready. Cleanup = zero.
